Cedric Diggory was a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, sorted into Hufflepuff house. Known for his strong moral compass, humility, and good looks, he was a popular and well-respected figure within the school.
A skilled Quidditch player, Cedric served as the Seeker for the Hufflepuff team. His exceptional abilities on the pitch were evident when he caught the Golden Snitch during a match against Gryffindor, despite Harry Potter falling off his broom.
In his sixth year, Cedric was selected as one of Hogwarts' champions in the Triwizard Tournament. He demonstrated bravery and competence throughout the challenges, tying for first place with Harry Potter.
Tragically, Cedric's life was cut short during the final task of the tournament when he and Harry were transported to a graveyard. He was murdered by Peter Pettigrew under the command of Lord Voldemort, becoming a symbol of the Dark Lord's return and a catalyst for the events that followed.
